Fee Details: I have been I doula since 1992, and a doula trainer since 1997. I recently earned my Master's degree in Infant Family Practice from ASU, so I have the experience and expertise to best help you achieve the birth that you hope for. I am willing to work for a lower fee if you are okay with having your birth video taped in order to make a training video for future doulas. Because I train new doulas, I can also refer you to students who are looking for experience if you have financial difficulty and cannot afford a doula.  Please check the blue box below for more details.                                                                                                                       CONTACT KELLY

My focus:

Overcoming the fear of birth

Natural childbirth in the hospital

Survivors of sexual or physical abuse

Bonding & attachment

Trauma prevention

I was the doula coordinator at Ashland Community Hospital in

Oregon before doulas were commonplace, so I learned very early

how to navigate the environment within the hospital in such a way

that would be of most benefit to the mother and her partner,

without creating conflict with the provider or the staff. I am very

comfortable working alongside the birth team as we try to help

you achieve the birth that you hope for.

Most of my births have been at the hospital, as I find myself advocating for women in that setting. I have been to two home births, one in Oregon and one in Croatia.
